A NEW YEAR MESSAGE

Sometimes we allow setbacks and mistakes of the past to enslave us, so that we do not fully enjoy the abundant life Jesus has given us. We let the devil use our unpleasant past to rob us of our blessed present and future. You don't have to live like that. As you begin the New Year 2017, Pastor Yared Dondo shared five practical steps to help you break free from your past and have a fresh start. Remember the acronym S.T.A.R.T.

S - Stop making excuses! You have to own up to your mistakes and failures. Stop blaming people or situations for your shortcomings. Take responsibility and repent. Proverbs 28:13

T - Take inventory of your life! You need to have a serious look at what is going on in your life. What do you have? What don't you have? Are you going through some pain? It could be for a reason. Galatians 3:4

A - Act in faith! Take a step. When you pray, expect God to answer. I mean, really EXPECT Him to do it! Acts 3:1 - 5

R - Refocus! Has your mind being putting the emphasis on the wrong things? It's time to focus your attention onto the right things. Focus on the Word of God. Don't just read or listen; meditate on the Word. It will renew your mind. Romans 12:2

T - Trust God! You can't succeed by working harder only; as you work, you need to trust God. Give Him the control, and follow His leading. And when things aren't as you desire, keep on trusting God, 'coz He is in control.

That's it. Now that you have this simple yet powerful formula, go ahead and make a fresh S.T.A.R.T of your life, and God will make something new in your life, just as He promised (Isaiah 43:18,19).

 Reading from Joshua 3:7 “And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee”

At the just concluded global New Year’s Eve service with the man of God, Pastor Chris, the Spirit of God declared the year 2014 as the YEAR OF GREATNESS!

According to the Pastor Chris, this year, God will begin to magnify you before the people. He will make you a wonder in your town, city, nation and continent. Greatness has been deposited into your spirit and it will not be taken away.

It does not matter what makes up your life right now, in this year of Greatness, God will begin to magnify you from glory to glory and no one will be able to stop it. Throughout 2014, you’ll go from glory to glory and wax greater and greater because the Lord will magnify you. Hallelujah!

This is your year of Greatness. Confess it and tell as many people as you can that this is your year. Glory to God!

Renowned Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has declared 2014 as a year of ‘crossing the bridge’, prophesying it to be a year of destiny where corruption would be corrected in Nigeria as corrupt leaders would go down.

It was an electric atmosphere in The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) where large crowds thronged to usher in the New Year 2014. T.B. Joshua came out around 11pm to deliver his much anticipated prophetic message in a broadcast beamed live via the churches popular television station Emmanuel TV.

He first counseled believers to stay steadfast in faith despite the challenges that would arise in the coming year. “We are tempted so that we may pray the more. Afflictions are meant for our spiritual benefit,” he encouraged the congregants and television viewers.

Moving on, he spoke about what was to be expected in the New Year, attendees listening with rapt attention and scribbling notes as he spoke. “This New Year 2014 is not like any other year in the past. It is a year of crossing bridge. To cross the bridge, you need to grab onto faith,” he began. “This is not going to be easy for the mighty. Many of the mighty will fall. Pray for them. The rich, famous and popular people – many will fall this 2014 because crossing the bridge is not going to be easy; they need God. Many of them believe it is their own making to be great in their own area of expertise.”

 I would like to encourage you to work on your attractiveness, meaning on your inner beauty, even men have inner beauty...

 If you are beautiful in the inside it will affect the outlook....

 It is very important to have self control, its true you might have inborn characters but if you submit them to the altar God is faithful he will amend and mold us, Hallelujah!

 As I have said earlier in my post With God Everything is Possible, God is changing histories... What is that they have called you in 2013? Is it too hard for God?

I enjoyed the year 2012

It was a glorious year.

The Spirit of God was with us from January to December.

What's on the mind of God, where is this leading  The economy of the world are troubled today, lots of problems everywhere.

This is not surprising for those that knows the word

The word forewarned of these events

Though the world may be covered with darkness, we are not of the world,We are the light of the world. God said to us that he has made us more than conquerors, God gave us his light, his light is his word and he gave us this light to walk through the darkness, and he said fear not, for I am with you.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper, the greater one lives in us. He has given us confidence in his word. Christ came that we might have life in abundance. We have thesame life with Christ.

Few scriptures that will take us into the year 2013.

 Romans 5:17 death reigned like a king over people by one mans offence.
They which receive (lambano) enormous grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign, To reign means to exercise authority, to be in charge, to reign over poverty and want. It's an amazing scripture

1 John 4:17 = as he is, so are we in this world. Not as he was, as he is. Not shall we, are we. He came as a lamb on earth, but now a reigning king.

There's a word I'll like to introduce to you. Let's see ( Luke 1:30 )

Fear not KingSuccess(put your name) for thou hast found favour with God.

The word favour was translated from the word Chraris which is GRACE as was translated in in Romans 5:17. There's a difference between the word grace and favour. Grace is usually an impastation. Often time it's more spiritual, something that gives an inner quality, but favour are the details of the expressions of grace, which means the grace of God works already in you but favour is one of the outward manifestation of grace.

You find a lot of people, even though the grace of God has been granted to them, you find them living a lower life. Favour is the outer expression of grace.

Psalm 102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

In the days of Daniel, there was a king who conquered Babylon, In his days when he became king, Daniel realised that the time that it was spoken of for them to be free, there was no sign to show it was time to favour Israel.

God functions with a lot of legality, yet with his grace. he has spiritual laws and this is one of the major reasons why you need to study the word.

Praying is a way of communicating with God and receiving communication. God doesn't just want us to pray, and I advise you t get the book on how to pry effectively. Jesus didn't come to establish religion, he's not a religious leader.

Psalm 102:13, THE SET TIME. 2013 is a special year. In this year 2013, you'll find the set time.

 

Genesis 39:20-21 but the lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper.

 

There's a legal righteousness and there's a vital righteousness.

 

2013 IS OUR YEAR OF FAVOUR

Prophet T.B. Joshua kicked off the new year 2013 with a host of prophetic revelations for individuals around the world. His message was quite compelling and different from what we have been hearing recently.

 

“Let me give you six out of many:

 

The prophecies for nations, continents and for those at the helm of affairs shall be announced during the next Sunday Service.

 

1. A year of surprises – I am seeing many great, famous, popular and rich men and politicians will become helpless and in need of help in matters of sickness, disease, finances, death, etc. One of the causes: They have failed to reward those who helped them to succeed. This is the year of judgment, especially for politicians who use youth to support their political ambitions without reward after winning power. Tell your neighbour: Reward those who help you succeed now.

 

2. Those in the foodstuff business will have a field day this year. Farming and agriculture will be the order of the day and will help greatly to be the source of solution this year. People engaged in it will be greatly blessed.

 

3. Those anxious about God and who hate sin – the faithful – your prayers for many years are not lost. This year, there will be instant answers to your prayers, especially those who have been seeking for the fruit of the womb. The long-time barren will become mothers of many babies this New Year.

 

4. Natural disasters will be many this New Year, such as motor accidents, sea sickness and air disasters. Let us move to God. With God, all things are possible.

 

5.Stop praying against those who hurt you. This year, you will see clearly that God is God of vengeance. Instead, you should pray for them.

 

6.Do charity work – feed the poor and the needy and give scholarships to those who deserve them. This year, there is great reward in doing this if you do it with all your heart. No matter how little, share it with others. Share their pain and share their joy.

 

7.Our youth who think always of travelling should use the money to go into agriculture or foodstuff business because in the New Year, God will bless them. They will achieve greatness by transacting in agriculture and foodstuff and become successful in export and import business. The money I am talking about could be in the region of N100,000, N200,000, N250,000 ($1,000, $1,500, $2,000).

 

Those who have been working for many years and have never been satisfied with the job and salary they receive, the little limited resources at their disposal should be invested in foodstuff business or agriculture, especially those already married. They should divide themselves in such a way that either the husband or wife should step down from service where they receive salary and face agriculture.

 

Foodstuff business and agriculture or farming are anointed businesses this New Year, to revive the world from economic depression. This is the secret of God revealed to you today. Quote me; you will not regret doing it. My name is T.B. Joshua.”

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

As the New Year begins, we often make resolutions and so, even non believer do make New Year Resolutions, it is important for Christian to keep the resolutions or promise they have made. Here are some few Resolutions that I thought one should make to have a Victorious Year 2013.

Pray

Prayer is a way of communicating with our Father God, failure to communicate with him he will not understand your need. Set a precious time to have an intimacy fellowship with him.

Plan to be the Prayer Warrior, Ameen!

Fellowship

At least twice in a week have time to share the word of God and pray with other brethren. Your faith will be strengthens and you will find yourself moving from Glory to Glory, Amen

Giving

Most of us are very stinge, may God help us to change our attitude this coming year and always, by giving more to him and to the needy. Give not only your money but your time, talent and any other resource to be used for the Glory of God. By doing so the shower of Blessing will be Yours, Amen! I feel like preaching…

Ensure you have right attitude towards money, do not forget to tithe, Amen, May God Help Us.

Healthy living

Having balanced diet, avoiding Junk foods, regular body exercise and drink at least 8 glasses of water per day, also set a time to relax.

Eat a lot of fruits, some white meat and avoid red…meat…

Check your weight regularly if it is not okay, plan Weight Loss Program; if you need one contact us….

Spend time with your family

This is two sided, parents ensure you spend time with your kids, pray and play with them. Yeah it’s so good for a father to play with her/his kids it adds a lot of value to them. Grown kids like me J also should have time with their parents, visit, talk and listen to them.

 

Become the best

Plan to become the best in whatever you are doing in your church, work, university, school and home.

Be the best… Pastor, Father,Mother,Wife,Husband,Employee,Student,Kid .Hallelujah
