A reputable company which is rapidly expanding security and support services company, incorporated in the UK, Kenya and Tanzania is looking for Defensive and Off Road Driving Instructors,Vacancies: 2 post
To deliver high quality training to company and client drivers in order to certify approved drivers and deliver refresher training to maintain standards and reduce risk of vehicle accidents. Our driver training courses are OGP 365 compliant.
Duties:
Effectively deliver training packages to groups of students. Training to cover: vehicle inspection, care and maintenance, daily vehicle inspections, driver training and competence assurance, training standards and refresher training.
Make recommendations for improvements to the training syllabus
Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
- Hold a recognized professional driving qualification and instructor qualification
- 5 years’ experience of driver training in eastern Africa
- Familiarity with OGP 365 standards would be an advantage
- Ability to implement best practice instructional methods
- Be an excellent communicator in Swahili and English
- Fully IT literate: Outlook, Excel, Word and Access
Personal characteristics:
- Diplomatic and responsible
- Enthusiastic and motivated – a ‘do-er’
- Interact well with both clients and employees
- Able to work alone on client sites and resolve any problems remotely
